Maureen FitzSimons's achievements as a child performer in America (which we refer to as Maureen O'Hara today) would be a sure signification for her to the child-prodigy class. However, for a child of Irish origin, and surrounded by gifted parents and a loving family, they had innate talents. Maureen was welcomed into the family-oriented home on the 17th of August 20th in Ranelagh. Marguerita LIlburn FitzSimons is her mother. She was an accomplished contralto. Charles FitzSimons owned the Shamrock Rovers soccer team in Ireland, and also ran the Shamrock Rovers soccer club and a Dublin business. Maureen FitzSimons is the second child from Charles FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons, Florrie Fitzsimons Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons The rest of the family rounded out the wonderful family. Maureen was a natural athlete and enjoyed playing tough sports. She combined this interest with an equally natural talent to perform. As a result, she won the majority of the Feis Awards for dramatic and acting within her own country. In her 14th year she enrolled in the Abbey Theater to follow her aspirations and pursue studies in the classical theater and operatic singing.
